Raw Revelations Icelandic Flake Salt is hand-crafted in small batches in Geothermal pools in the most pristine regions of Northern Iceland. Contains 3 times more magnesium and 2 times more potassium than Celtic salt. Our Iceland sea salt, like other sea salts, is less processed than other forms of table salt and retains more trace minerals that are beneficial to holistic wellness, such as magnesium, iron, zinc, iodine, and of course sodium, among many others. Some of these minerals, such as iodine, are often added to table salt artificially, whereas it occurs naturally in sea salt. Many people also prefer high-quality sea salt because it often has a unique, distinct flavor and adds a pleasant texture to foods when used as a garnish or flavoring. This flaky sea salt delivers both. 

If you prefer a finer salt grind, simply grind salt in a coffee grinder or blender, or add to a salt a salt grinder.

Is your salt tested for heavy metals?

It certainly is tested and it is indeed low. Also, the seawater is filtered down to 10 microns to remove microplastics or any other potential unwanted debris from the seawater which is already from a cleaner region of the world.
