Reishi
Reishi, or Ganoderma Lucidum, is known as the “mushroom of immortality” in China where it has been used for more than 2000 years. Highly regarded for its adaptogenic and chronic disease fighting capabilities, Reishi has been recognized by the Japanese government as an approved adjunct herb in cancer treatment. It has strong immune-modulating abilities, and has been proven to help protect against chemotherapy and radiation. The triterpenes in Reishi are also good for hypertension, liver protection, cholesterol, and antioxidant properties. Other uses include fatigue support, hair loss, and bone marrow integrity.
Trametes versicolor
Also known as Turkey Tail. A mushroom with significant immuno-modulating properties, Turkey Tail is the source of two patented pharmaceutical drugs prescribed to cancer patients, PSP and PSK. These substances are best absorbed in whole mushroom form, utilizing its full intelligence. 480 double blind studies on PSP (polysaccharide peptide) have proven its immune-enhancing benefits.
Shiitake
