A great time to take our MSM supplement is first thing in the morning to ensure proper absorption and optimal hydration and detoxification throughout the day. That’s why we call it a “morning mix,” after all!

Another popular time to take an MSM powder is directly after a workout. Again, be sure to take it with plenty of water to ensure proper absorption and hydration. One reason it is popular to take MSM after working out is that it is said to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and aid in muscle recovery.

Should I Take It On an Empty Stomach?

Actually, even though it’s a good idea to take MSM early in the morning, it’s also best to take it with food, as some have said that MSM powder can be irritating to an empty stomach.

Is There Anything Else I Should Take with MSM?

Yes, MSM supplements are often taken in conjunction with vitamin C rich foods or liquids, like citrus juices, because these two work in concert.
